This Privacy Policy explains how Knox Concepts LLC (operating the ActAlikes.ai platform — “ActAlikes,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information in connection with the ActAlikes.ai website and our audience-intelligence and advertising-audience services (collectively, the “Services”).
Because our Services involve advertising identifiers, device data, and location-derived audience information, we describe both the information we handle about the promoters and businesses who use our Services and the information we process about consumers whose pseudonymous advertising data may be included in audience segments.

1. Information We Collect
Information you provide to us
When you use our promoter tools, request an audience analysis, or purchase an audience license, we collect information you submit, which may include your name, business or event name, email address, telephone number, venue and event location details (such as city, state, and geographic radius), and the details of your inquiry or order.
Payment information
Payments are processed by our third-party payment processor, Stripe. We do not collect or store your full payment card number. Stripe processes card and billing details under its own privacy policy and applicable card-network security standards.
Advertising and audience data we process
As part of delivering the Services, we process pseudonymous advertising and device-level information used to build advertising audience segments. This may include mobile advertising identifiers (such as Apple IDFA and Google Advertising ID, collectively “MAIDs”), device and technical identifiers, approximate or derived location signals (including audiences associated with geographic areas around venues and events), and engagement or interest scores derived from such signals. These identifiers are generally pseudonymous and are not, on their own, used by us to identify a person by name.
Location precision and identity resolution
We do not disclose the specific location, venue, or address where any advertising identifier was observed. Audience segments indicate only that a device was present somewhere within the geographic area and radius requested by the promoter or artist — never the precise point at which the identifier was collected.
Advertising identifiers are sometimes associated with other identifiers through standard industry identity-resolution (“graphing”) processes. Where this occurs, we are diligent about privacy: we work only with reputable data partners, limit the information we handle and disclose to what is necessary to provide the Services, and treat this data with appropriate care and safeguards.
Information collected automatically
When you visit our website, we and our service providers may automatically collect technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, and the dates and times of access, using cookies, server logs, and similar technologies.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and improve the Services, including generating audience analyses and fulfilling audience-license orders;
- Process transactions, send order confirmations, and provide customer support;
- Build, refine, and deliver advertising audience segments for use by our clients in digital advertising campaigns;
- Communicate with you about your account, orders, license terms, renewals, and refreshes;
- Maintain the security, integrity, and proper functioning of our systems;
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms and agreements.
3. How We Disclose Information
We may disclose information as follows:
- Service providers. We share information with vendors who perform services on our behalf, such as cloud hosting (Amazon Web Services), payment processing (Stripe), and email and workflow automation, bound by obligations to protect the information.
- Advertising and data partners. To deliver the Services, we may share advertising audience segments with demand-side platforms and other advertising partners so that our clients can activate campaigns, and we may receive advertising and location data from data suppliers.
- Clients. Audience licenses you purchase, including the associated audience data, are delivered to you for use in your own advertising, subject to your agreement and applicable law.
- Legal and safety. We may disclose information to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, protect our rights, or address fraud and security issues.
- Business transfers. Information may be transferred as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.
Because we share advertising identifiers and related data with advertising partners, some of these disclosures may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information under certain state privacy laws. See Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information below.
4. Advertising Identifiers & Your Ad Choices
You can limit the collection and use of mobile advertising identifiers directly on your device:
- Apple iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking, and Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising.
- Android: Settings → Privacy / Ads, where you can delete or reset your advertising ID and opt out of ad personalization.
You may also use industry opt-out tools, including the Digital Advertising Alliance (optout.aboutads.info), the Network Advertising Initiative (optout.networkadvertising.org), and, for users in Europe, Your Online Choices (youronlinechoices.eu). These opt-outs are device- and browser-specific and may need to be renewed if you clear cookies or reset your device.
5. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information. We honor verifiable requests as required by applicable law.
California (CCPA/CPRA)
California residents may have the right to know about and access the personal information we collect, to request deletion or correction, to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information and of targeted advertising, and to limit the use of certain sensitive personal information (which may include precise geolocation). We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. We honor opt-out preference signals such as the Global Privacy Control (GPC) where required.
Other U.S. states
Residents of states such as Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, and others with comprehensive privacy laws may have similar rights, including the right to access, correct, or delete personal data and to opt out of targeted advertising and the sale of personal data.
Europe, the United Kingdom, and similar jurisdictions (GDPR)
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or a similar jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data and to data portability. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. Our processing is generally based on your consent, our legitimate interests in operating the Services, or the performance of a contract, as applicable.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in the Contact Us section. We may need to verify your identity before responding, and you may use an authorized agent where permitted by law.
6. Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. Our use of advertising identifiers means that some data disclosures may qualify as a “sale” or “sharing” under applicable law.
To opt out, you may (1) email us at privacy@knoxconcepts.com with the subject line “Do Not Sell or Share,” (2) use the device and industry opt-out tools described in Section 4, and (3) enable the Global Privacy Control (GPC) in a supported browser, which we honor where required by law.
7. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services and for legitimate business and legal purposes. Audience licenses are typically provided for a one-year term with periodic (e.g., quarterly) data refreshes; we retain related order and account information for the period necessary to administer the license, meet recordkeeping and tax obligations, and resolve disputes. We delete or de-identify information when it is no longer needed, subject to applicable law.
8. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including encryption of data in transit and access controls on our systems hosted with Amazon Web Services. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children’s Privacy
The Services are intended for businesses and adults and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
10. International Users
We are based in the United States, and the information we process is stored and handled in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data-protection laws may differ from those in your country.
11. Third-Party Services & Links
The Services rely on and may link to third-party services (such as Stripe and our advertising partners) that operate under their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties, and we encourage you to review their policies.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above, and material changes will be indicated as appropriate. Your continued use of the Services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
